Faith Smith is the Director of the Bucketfillers For Life New York Region. Prior to joining BFL in 2009, she spent the previous four years raising her four children and implementing bucketfilling philosophies into her everyday life, and she continues to be the Lead Bucketfiller in her family.

For ten years she worked with children as a Speech Language Pathologist in both private practice and the public school setting. She supervised several interns and gave staff in-services throughout the district.
Most recently, she has been working at her family’s resort where she has developed children’s programs and assisted in public relations.

Here’s What Others Say About Faith…

“The Bucket Filling program presented to and maintained in our school by Faith Smith has enriched our character education initiative and is a great way to relay our anti-bullying message. The positive messages have spread quickly throughout our student body, helping to increase our awareness of what it means to treat one another with respect.”
- Marc Meyer, Principal, Hampton Bays Elementary School, Hampton Bays, NY

“Faith, Thanks again for visiting our school! Bucket filling goes hand in hand with our character education program. Thank you for reinforcing the positive climate on our campus. The PK-3rd grade students left your assembly with lots of positive energy. They are excited about filling buckets in school and at home.””
- Damian Switzer, Principal, Bolton Central School, Holton Landing, NY

“Thank you for working with us to bring the Bucketfillers program to our district!  It was inspiring and thought provoking and the students really get the concept. It touched the hearts of many teachers and the parents that came to the parent program.  I have only heard good things about the program going through all of the schools."

“You showed me things that I didn’t see before. Three things that I will do to keep this going are write a letter to everyone in my family, try to be nicer and not yell as much. Thank you for helping me understand things I never understood before.”

Amber, a Student
"That was the best assembly I’ve ever seen at our school. Everything was perfect—the length, the humor, how it kept the students’ attention and got the positive message to them so effectively, the humor. All of it was great! We are very pleased."
