Kelly Nickel delivers our Bucketfillers For Life programs in the entire Western U.S..
“Mr. 5-Cent” (as his students call him) also stays busy as an education consultant and popular Communication instructor at Shasta Community College in Redding, California.
A gifted facilitator and community builder who is documented to be funny, Kelly fills his high-energy assemblies, workshops, and trainings with boundless enthusiasm, heartfelt inspiration, delightful humor, and practical advice.
A true education scientist at heart, Kelly’s professional passion is designing and delivering student-centered learning experiences that produce real, measurable outcomes.
Previously, Kelly served for eight years as a stay-at-home dad to his three children, directed a large faith-based children’s and youth program, served as the 40 Developmental Assets Coordinator for a Youth Empowerment non-profit, and served as a teen success speaker for Monster.com. Since 2001, Kelly has served as a Director, Games Leader, and Counselor at 43 camps and retreats.
Kelly’s unique ability to connect in a meaningful way with almost everyone he meets has allowed him to enjoy nearly 15 years of success helping children, youth, and adults discover what makes them incredible and how they can use those gifts to create the life of their dreams.
